According to his supervisors, AIC James B. Hodgell is a "First Class" transporter! He arrived for duty at Travis' 60th Vehicle Operations Flight in Nov 1999 and began impressing people right away. He is consistently complimented by Travis' DVs and has a collection of coins that attest to it! During his first year at Travis he was awarded the Travis Top 3 Rocker Award, Transportation Squadron Airman of the Quarter Apr-Jun 2000 and Outstanding Airman of the Year of 2000, and the Squadron AFSA Chapter 13 First Term Airman of the Year nominee.

James is currently attending Solano Community College working toward his CCAF Degree of Transportation Management. His AF goal is to qualify for the SOARS program and become an Intelligence Officer. He and his wife Mindy are active booster club members and are tremendous contributors to the Team Travis and local communities. They give of themselves through AAFES Giving Tree program, Drug Education for Youth program, annual Earth Day and many Travis Youth Center activities. But they don't stop there. This super couple also serves food for the local veteran's home during holidays and transports them to special outings throughout the year.

GREAT WORK GUYS!
